Your file /etc/X11/xorg.conf is not correct... Copy and paste this into your /etc/X11/xorg.conf exactly as it appears and you might be all done: Section "Device" Identifier "uga" driver "fbdev" Option "fbdev" "/dev/fb1" Option "ShadowFB" "off" EndSection Section "Monitor" Identifier "monitor" EndSec...

I'll give it a try. The results are as follows: in darkblue there is written: By-ID By Path and in yellow is written: Mice mouse0 for the rest nothin' there.. Edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf again and make the section that reads: Section "ServerLayout" Identifier "default" Screen 0 "screen" 0 0 InputDevice...

OK.. added the lines to the xorg.conf and deleted the dwc speed=1 line from cmdline But.. Strangely still no response at mouse/keyboard on the graphical part with the 3.2.27mimo2 kernel.. any suggestions which I can try for mouse/keyboard? Re: Mimo 720-S Touchscreen [Solved]

Thanks. I will try that. But it is still a strange thing that there are not any USB problems on the original Raspberry Wheezy image, both terminal and Graphical. The USB problems start until the moment when the 3.2.27mimo2.img are in use.. So there must be any solution for each type of keyboard and...

Re: Mimo 720-S Touchscreen [Solved]

For anyone who wants to incorporate a mouse and keyboard with their touchscreen you can try these modifications to '/etc/X11/xorg.conf' these updates should 'pull' in the default keyboard and mouse when 'X' starts. It works nicely with my wireless Logitech K400 keyboard and touchpad, however, your m...

Re: Mimo 720-S Touchscreen [Solved]

Hi, Just a quick question: Can I use the Mimo 720-S as the main (and only) monitor for the Raspberry Pi. I've read that you need to have a HDMI display connected when booting. Thank you!! Yes... You can also boot the RPi with no monitor attached and use ssh to access it over ethernet for text only ...

Hi, I tried the following tar files from this post/forum E.G. * 3.6.11-mimo. Extracting got well to the point: cannot create symlink /home/dane/src/raspberry I think this is a faulty address which is not really used for Raspberry? I think Dane is the name of one of the compilers/posters in here. * ...

Re: Is there any touch screen suitable for Pi?

"Is there any touch screen suitable for Pi?" is the question posted by this topic, is it not? One can also assume you were and are unfamiliar with USB touchscreens by default as your post misinformed the original author. As far as I and a number of others are concerned, USB touchscreens compromise p...

Re: Is there any touch screen suitable for Pi?

Hello, Just thought I'd post a quick reply, that there are indeed working/workable touchscreen usb monitors available and they work quite well. Mimo Monitors being the source for three that I'm familiar with, the 720F, 720s and 710 (non touchscreen). The 720F is the most plug and play as the 720s re...

Re: High speed USB drive instead of SD card for XBMC?

I would recommend against using a 'usb flash drive' because their performance and reliability are sub par. SD cards are likely a much better solution. What I would recommend, however, is an SSD (Solid State Drive) they offer all the features and reliability of a classic hard drive while providing a ...

Re: Mimo 720-S Touchscreen [Solved]

Not a problem J. The intention for our Pi is to just be an on screen interface for controlling equipment and really wouldn't require a keyboard. Just wanted to be sure others knew there could be issues depending on the keyboard (usb device). That's interesting, it's basically what I'm up to as well...

Re: Mimo 720-S Touchscreen [Solved]

Just an FYI, changing this setting can cause issues with other usb devices. I noticed that my usb keyboard will not work anymore with this change. Not that it matter since I can remote in but just a heads up for other devices people may be using with it. An OK solution I added was matchbox-keyboard...

Hello Phil, I'm really glad to hear you got moving again. Figuring that out was a bit of a struggle and that is to say the least.
