Re: Java AWT > OpenGL ES: Help my transition!

Thanks xranby that it really seem a easy way out but I have a hard time installing the packages.
I have no idea how to add the package to my project (using Eclipse).

I read that I have to import the jars in the jogl-2.0-rc11 folder. After that I'm clueless.

Java Compiler for the Pi (Made in Java)

Hi, I am a fan of CodeRunner on Mac OS X. I don't like Eclipse and Netbeans because I always do small projects in university and I like clean and simple interfaces. As far as I know both Windows and Linux don't have a CodeRunner alternative so I am trying making one. I am not an experienced programm...

Re: Java AWT > OpenGL ES: Help my transition!

Thanks for the replies. I had used AWT because that what I got taught in the tutorials. I had learned Java in uni and now I am expanding my knowledge with whatever I can get on the internet, and self-teaching is not great if you don't find the right resources. With AWT I used Canvas, JFrame and pixe...

Java AWT > OpenGL ES: Help my transition!

Hi, I not familiar with OpenGL let alone OpenGL ES. I have been following some game tutorial based on Notch's Minicraft; however, I found out that the AWT library makes java not to performe well on the RPi. In fact I get 5 to 10 FPS on those java games. I saw some videos that says that is recommende...
