no your slowness is other things - a blob on there will not affect things [if you bridge to the header then problems will ensue ]

change your RPI so it auto logins in and then runs your program ,
shutdown
remove screen and keyboards , plug it in , and it will work

4.75 is the low level of good for the RPI [well more for attached things]
the PI will work OK as low as 3.6V [ish] YMMV
USB peripherals may not function as low as that

enable root ssh and
rsync -a --exclude /full/path/to/file source/image root@remote.pc:/

or have similar on the machine to rsync from a master image on boot up or regular times etc...

this will not give you access to the serial console , what it does it use the serial lines to provide a networked solution so that both raspberrys appear on the network and each can acecss the other, and the larger internet as well ... I may have some time next week, so will do it again via latest S...

an HDMI to rca cable is not good enough you need an adapter , or a hdmi to audio splitter box

don't use rc.local get your pi to auto login as user pi [see sudo raspi-cvonfig for this
then add at the end of .bashrc
add

5.5V is out of spec , 5.25V is max, YMMV but the polyfuse will blow,
what is wrong with supplying a correct voltage level?

swappiness is very low so it wont use it unless it really needs to ,
no swap just means the system will OOM sooner
