OK I'll try that. But the pi is stuck on 'waiting for network'

Can't set static ip
Hi,
I'm trying to set a static ip. I went through all the steps listed here
http://www.suntimebox.com/raspberry-pi- ... k-3/day-5/
I did this twice and both times I rebooted the pi is stuck on "waiting for network"
Any ideas? I don't even know how to exit from it

Re: Power Supply Test
With a EDIMAX wireless USB adapter and hdmi plugged in I get 4.5volts using a RS components power cable.
Is this ok??? or is there something suspicious here!!

Hey guys, I have read through the forums but can't find a deifinitive answer. I had my pi working perfectly in my house, the wireless would run flawlessly with a full connection. Re: What are your OVERCLOCKING settings when using XBMC??
I'm Running raiper skin at default settings and it's a little laggy.....I may need to wait a second or two when entering my movies folder. I did find refocus skin to run quite smooth. Quick question - will the amount of add-ons and installed stuff on the SD card hinder performance??? Similar to a wi...

Re: What are your OVERCLOCKING settings when using XBMC??
My setup is arm_freq=1100 core_freq=500 isp_freq=500 sdram_freq=500 over_voltage=6 And on Raspbmc.. When i first got the device I was really disappointed of the preformance, so I put on a heat shink and overclocked it.. Now im really happy with it. It runs smoothly @1100Mhz, with around 57C when I ...

Re: XBMC + Desktop, Spotify & Internet Browser
Personally I would play about.. Overclocking can be Pi specific, what works for one might not another for many factors.. but from what you say re new power cable, I'd push it up a bit and see.. Just remember to backup.. :-) Although, obviously, I take no responsibility if it breaks your pi or sdcar...

Re: shutting down XBian safely?
Cool! so after shutting down XBMC, the Pi is completely off!
I don't have a power strip with on/off switch, i suppose unplugging from the wall will have to do!
