Raspberry Pi as Wireless Access Point?

I have a USB Wi-Fi adapter.

Would I be able to connect my Raspberry Pi up to my network via ethernet and use this Wi-Fi adapter to transmit the internet connection to other devices?

Does anybody know of some software compatible with Pi that can do this?

Re: Keyboard repeating keystrokes with PI

SO I can buy a self-powered USB hub and this may solve my issue as well as prevent issues with any other devices I may use in the future? I would prefer buying a hub instead of a new keyboard as I can always use the hub for other things in the future, it may come in handy. A keyboard most likely won...

Re: Keyboard repeating keystrokes with PI

Also, is this an issue with all OSs?

Because I am not bothered about using Raspbian, I will use any.

I'm a novice of RPi, is it unlikely that I will ever to be able to use my keyboard with it then?

Re: Keyboard repeating keystrokes with PI

urgh... is there likely to be any software solution to it or is it purely a RPI hardware compatibility issue?

Keyboard repeating keystrokes with PI

I got a Pi for Xmas and tried to set it up that day. I installed raspbian to an 8GB SDHC card and managed to get to the login section where I am supposed to enter "pi" then "raspberry". The problem is that keys will be recognised as pressed but not aways recognised as released so will repeat the sam...

New board?

I am looking to buy a RPi son but obvously, if a new board is coming out, I will wait until then.

I came across this mentioning a new B board by 2013:

Java Sub-Forum?

Shouldn't there be a Java sub-forum?

I have noticed lots of Java threads and organising these into their own sub-forum would make searching the forum easier and encourage Java programming on the PI.

Different Boards

I am looking to buy a RPI but do not know of the different boards and prices. Can somebody send me a link to a page or briefly explain, the different boards currently on sale? I know there is an A board and a B board (maybe even a C board?) what is the difference between these (including price)? Is ...

Re: Should I get Pi now?

ok thanks, I'll probably buy one soon then.

Hasn't there been a recent upgrade though (RAM I think)? Considering it has only recently been released and already had an upgrade is making me think it could happen again though.

Should I get Pi now?

I want Pi as a backup computer for when I go to university in September 2013. However, if there are going to be upgrades to the computer between now and then I will want to wait as, due to studying computer science, I will want the most advanced one possible. If there is going to be an upgrade, up u...
