Re: Facciamo un RaspOscilloscopio ?

Ciao, ho continuato la cosa sul forum internazionale, alla fine è emerso che la meglio cosa è usare un FPGA, per ora siamo concordi su questo kit

Re: Newbie: gcc MYSQL include file issues

Yes he is right, i've missed that you are tring to call your program mysql_config --cflags --libs Try also gcc file_to_compile.c -o output-file -L/usr/lib/mysql -lmysqlclient -L is for the linker to search library, not include file. Some official stuff here http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/lib...

I don't have a DD so I can't test, but i don't think is possibile without heavy software modification...

Exactly, why do you need those extra memory ?

In thoose loop you are reading or writing to the GPIO ?

Re: Flash ADC (SPI) for < 25ns resolution

SPI reading is quite slow... The link you linked are referred to Writing, you can even reach 20Mhz on a single GPIO! But reading is another story... http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=24693 http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=228908#p228908 I think you need a DSP + ...

Re: DD-WRT JFFS?

You want to extend DD-WRT memory right ?

In this case I think nfs is better...
In theory you have to share a partiotion or a folder on the RPI and mount it on the DD.

Io andrei di wireles... Tanto quando sei vicino casa il cell si collega in auto alla tua rete di casa, fai una paginetta web che chiama uno script in python / php e lui fa il resto con le porte GPIO... Thanks you so much for your reply, now I can have some number as a reference.
And thanks also for the clock_gettime hint!
Thanks also, i was looking for use a mcp3304 for initial test but the MCP4922 seems to be so much better!

Re: controlling 256 solenoids using GPIO

I suggest you to use the 74hc4067 wich is a 16 analog mux/demux, of course you need 16 + 1 of those... 4 pin to drive the master mux, 4 pin to drive the remaining... They also provide a minimal buffering to drive an IGBT connected to a bulk capacitor (like http://talkingelectronics.com/projects/CDU-...

Re: Time needed to read a i2c bus

Yes you are right to make a lot of read and then average, i've done this too in other test, but differences are negligible. Getting current time took less than 1microsecond with gettimeofday(&tv,NULL); Exact timing is impossible but is around 0.4uS (sometimes 3 function return the same timestamp, so...

Yes, some modern pc calculator includes a Hex mode and a binary mode, you can easily commute between the two.

Or just use a reference http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexadecima ... esentation
Or a "GCC only" goodies -> var=0b01010101;

ans1 = hyt.read_word_data(add,4)

Re: How do I cross-compile without losing my sanity?

I'm using QT5, and crosscompiling... But it took about 5 days to me to realize that thing.... The point is to mount the rpi filesystem on your machine via sshfs, adjust the root filesystem for the compilation and now you can "recicle" stuff installed on the pi So you have to simply install from the ...
