Re: Overclocking
Can you see the corruption in kern.log, i.e. does the SD driver (mmc0) tell you that something is going wrong? Yep, best way (for me) has been testing the settings by reboot looping. So reboot after reboot and checking dmesg after every reboot. Randomly there's something like this: mmc0: final writ...

Re: RetroArch Emulator Frontend
Pulseaudio wasn't actually installed. Probably removed by retropie. This is a dedicated emulator too, so only latest raspbian + retropie setup. I am configuring RetroArch globally (so using the /etc/retroarch.cfg) EDIT: seems that apt-get autoremove deleted some pulseaudio thingies. Now I am seeing ...

Re: Overclocking
I also am having trouble overclocking the core. Current (stable) settings are:
arm_freq = 1000
sdram_freq=450
gpu_freq=250
overvoltage=6
force_turbo=1
Any rise done on the core_freq and I'm hit with SD corruption. Using class 10 transcend mini SDHC card.

Re: RetroArch Emulator Frontend
are you running retroarch from within the x environment or from the command line out the traditional GUI interface? I installed it via the RetroPie script, which I think launches games from the CLI after selecting them from EmulationStation. Used the option to get the newest version from the repos....

Re: RetroArch Emulator Frontend
Thanks alot for all work! Just tried out this myself but i am seeing couple for problems. For some reason the cpu usage is really high (95-100%) even on nes -games (same level on snes actually). The games arent totally fluid and i'm finding the sounds a bit weird (using hdmi and alsa setting in retr...

Re: iSCSI modules for 3.1.9+?
My final goal is use the Pi with a dual HDD USB case sharing files over my network. Actually i using Samba and EXT4, but i can't plug the USB case on Windows if needed.. I hope that NTFS over iSCSI will have a good speed instead of NTFS with Samba. Many thanks again! Actually, you can read EXT4 on ...

Re: Pi as an information screen
Easiest way would be to create a webpage for showing that stuff and using a digital signage software like Screenly ( https://github.com/wireload/screenly-ose )

Re: New (November 11th) glint-nes OS image available
Nice work! Are you focusing 100% on nes only? I'm just wondering how this differs from the RetroArch -project. Especially since you are considering using EmulationStation too. Would be awesome to get a "drop in" distro for running games, but I would like it to support other platforms too (...

Re: WiDrive
I have done exactly what you are talking about, but i'm not really following what is your problem with this? You don't how to get started? 1). About the AP-mode, try this: lsmod|grep mac80211. If it doesn't return anything your wifi dongle won't support AP -mode. Get a better one, they are cheap. I'...
