You will probably need to copy those over if needed, I haven't actually ran into any missing modules yet so didn't think of that.

I have successfully installed the Ubuntu 14.04 root fs tar (No Kernel) from armhf.com :) It boots and seems to be working great, seems to be snappier than raspbian, although I haven't tried a comparison yet. I am still having this issue, Checked voltages last night and the voltages never dropped below 4.8 even with USB SSD plugged in. I am unable to check voltages at the moment, but same exact. Hardware and cables pluged into another pi works fine. (Same sd card and everything).

Update: I've got a kernel.log from Arch. I installed arch to see if it was a debian specific problem, but same exact results. Hello, I just got my second Pi in the mail and am having problems. I hav a Lapdock that I'm running the pi on, I power the Pi by the usb backfeed.
