Re: Computer in a keyboard

<t>Yeh, i've actually got an idea to try and use an R-Pi to create a new kind of keyboard using some rfid kit aswell, at credit card size they should be perfect, that and no heating requirements, it's just a shame there's no OTG usb port, otherwise could have made it into a wired keyboard, but will ...

Re: Order Day Announcement Forewarning?

<t>Stuff like this sadly always happens with open source/ small hardware makers, I don\'t see why production for these would take to long when it happens.<br/> <br/> I might be talking out of my arse here but I never understand why they never do rapid prototyping of this type of device, make smaller...

Re: Rant: Netbooks were better three years ago

<t>ASUS make plenty of decent netbooks still like a few other brands out there... any of them with an Atom processer are great, I bought the 1000H opting for a HDD over SSD an it was worth it, ran windows XP perfectly fine. Had that for 3 years and the spec never really changed and still managed to ...

Re: RasPi as a basic school desktop replacement

<t>In this instanse the best thing is to have a RasberyPi's as dumb terminals, I'm pretty sure you can find some good open source windows desktop terminal software which would do most of the tricks, then all you need to do is set up your active directory as a termianl server (does require liscening,...
