Video Chroma key or per pixel alpha

Does anyone know how to enable video chroma key or other per-pixel alpha using the il omx components (omxplayer style video rendering)? Or is this possible?

I do see the global alpha and layer settings, but global blend wasn't the effect I was looking for.....

Console gone after display resolution change

Whenever the display resolution is changed or updated (via tvservice, omxplayer, or other graphics program) it kills all prior graphics layers on the screen, including the console. I can't seem to find any way of getting the console display (via HDMI) back. I tried sending the wake or other commands...

Did you ever find a solution on this? I see the exact same problem. Closing and rebuilding the elements didn't help. Next I was going to try closing the display also....

Thanks again :)

Have you done much experimenting with F2FS for the root partition? If so, any feedback on its stability verses ext4?

Re: Prevent SD-Card Corruption

Thanks!

I actually need to know the specific version of GPU code/firmware that the fixes were applied. Also, if the fix was done in the linux kernel which version as well.

I use hundreds of PIs and need to identify which ones require updates for this.

Re: OMX clocking / latency target questions

Hi haven't received any response from the GPU folks yet.

You should be able to speed up playback by adjusting the timescale on the clock component.

OMX clocking / latency target questions

Hello, I am working on updating omxplayer to improve support for live streams. The current hot issue is that the hdmi_clock_sync does not seem to work as expected. Ideally, the output hdmi clock will adjust it's frequency in real time based on either the SCR from the input video or the internal deco...

Re: ext3/4 and SD-card wear leveling

My thinking is leaving half the card unpartitioned guarantees that you will always have half the blocks in the leveling "pool". The filesystem will never write to the logical addresses from 4 to 8G, so on the sd physical address side that means half the card is always empty (and in the pool). If you...

Re: ext3/4 and SD-card wear leveling

Heater, I do use a 4G partition on the 8G card. I haven't heard anything about the wear leveling being locked to certain "zones". However, all leveling algorithms are proprietary to the manufacturers and they don't specifically say what they are doing. I don't think SD cares how you partition your c...

Have the USB issues with SD corruption been cleared up on the 3.8+ kernel? Sorry it is off topic but that is an even bigger issue than fstrim....
