Pi-Top Version 2

Hello All,

I’m looking at getting the Pi-Top and understand there is now a version 2. Version 2 has a 1080 HD display. Is there a USA distributor that has version 2? Are there any other differences besides the screen resolution?

Pi-Ceed’s inquiry page is not operating

Thanks

Re: Wi-Fi Access

Hello All, I performed the edits as recommended above, I now have Wi-Fi through my primary router. Thanks for all of the very useful and helpful advise. My last question is what happened in that an extra line seems to have been added to the file above ("wep_key0="xxxxxxxxxx"). With it removed and a ...

Re: Wi-Fi Access

This is not turning into my day. Just went to:

/etc/wpa_supllicant

But cannot access or execute any of the four files there. (3 executable, one .conf files)

stating access was denied.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Re: Wi-Fi Access

Hi Dougie, I started off using WPA and received the same result of no connectivity. Is the pre Shared Key the password? Does it have to have certain characteristics such as character length? I also found the network preferences menu, but I can't seem to have it do anything for me either. Previously ...

Wi-Fi Access

Hello All, I'm having a problem, that I'm sure I'll feel very silly about once I have the answer, but I can't connect to my Wi-Fi router. I'm using the Wi-Fi on a Pi 3 for the first time. I have a Pi3, Inside a Pi-Ceed enclosure I left depress the mouse button, I see my router as well as about a doz...

Dual Audio Outputs

Hello,

I normally don't deal with the audio output of the RPi projects I have as I relied on the HDMI monitor's speakers. Now I have a monitor without speakers but need audio. Is the audio present or switchable to the 3.5mm jack?

Thanks.

Flipping the Screen Upside Down

Hello Everyone,

I'm using the A+ running Jessy and the 7" RPi Screen. I've installed the bezel with feet from Pimora(?), but with the feet on the table, the image is upside down. How can I invert it?

Thanks.

Re: Where can you buy the pi zero now?

Any word on when the Pi Zeros will be available in quantities that are predictable?

Also is the A+ now discontinued also? MCM and Adafruit both out of stock. MCM took away the ordering button entirely for the A+.

Thanks.

Re: Pi Zero PCB Contacts and Hardware Questions

Hello RaTTuS,

I was wondering if the micro-USB data connector had it +/- power connections in addition to the two data pins. Would save in connecting the Pi to the outside world.

Thanks.

Pi Zero PCB Contacts and Hardware Questions

Hello All, Sorry if this has been defined elsewhere. On the bottom of the new Raspberry Pi Zero there are solder pads marked PP1 through PP40. Not all 40 pads are included in this count. First I assumed that they mirrored the GPIO Connector, but some seem to be dedicated to the micro-USB Ports so I'...

Re: Renaming a directory

Thanks for your help, but it looks like I need more. Tried:

mv KenT2-pipresents-next-aa66e61 pipresents-next-aa66e61

but directory is remaining the same as KenT2-pipresents-next-aa66e61

Any additional help or detail would be appreciated.

Thanks

Renaming a directory

Hello, I'm trying to work with a program called pipresents. The instructions associated with it are very good, but I'm stuck with one of the basics: wget https://github.com/KenT2/pipresents-next/tarball/master -O - | tar xz, There should now be a directory 'KenT2-pipresents-next-xxxx' in your home d...

Re: Wifi No Longer working

Hello Bobstro,

The AP is definitely running WEP. Nothing has changed from that side. How do I access the access to the WEP Key on the RPi running the latest Raspbian release. It seems to have changed from the previous version.

Thanks.

Good evening. Not sure what I did, but several panel applets have disappeared. I've lost the original "MENU" selection, Internet, two programing Applets, and the "Terminal" Applet.
