Re: can i emulate ps2 games?

So the main issue that keeps popping up is proccessing power. A week later and we get pi2, with a massive proccessor update! How are our chances looking now? From my own limited expireince I would predict possible, but slow. Any other opinions?

I have intermediate c++ skills, and I find overly ambitious projects the best learning experiences. Is opengl es much different from desktop gl? Than...

Re: little big planet pi edition (LBP)

In my opinion Pi and Little Big Planet are a perfect match! The message of creativity and openness from LBP is a perfect compliment to the Raspberry Pi philosophy! But, from a more practical point of view it probably won't happen, but not impossible if I understand some of the things in this post ri...

Actually I think Minecraft uses a different OpenGL version than the raspberry pi does, OpenGl 1.0 vs. GLES 2.0.

redstone logic: every redstone block corresponds with an object containing a bool for on/off and 4 pointers, one for each possible attached redstone wire. it would also have a method (or function) to change its state and call the same function for all the attached wires. could also have a parameter ...

that seems like alot of stuff for one pi. Maybe a bbb (beagle bone black) would work better for this? (It has better ethernet and a faster cpu)

Re: New to Minecraft - is this a feature or a bug?

random keys sticking is a bug on the pc version, a quick fix is to install optifine. This doesn't help much for the pi though, but if you press escape while its happening I think that will stop it. It did on pc anyway, might work here.
