Re: Thermal camera
I've managed to produce a simple thermal camera using the Panasonic Grid-EYE (AMG83xx) sensor on an Adafruit board and the Pimoroni UnicornHD HAT for the display, both available from Pimoroni. Code details are on my github: https://github.com/YoungAtHome/Thermal This works at 9 frames per second on ...

BumbleBee space saving furniture controlled by Raspberry Pi
I've just seen that Bumblebee Spaces are using Raspberry Pi's to move furniture and storage down from the ceiling on demand. Their 'volumetric' storage saves floor space. In a video interview with one of the founders we can clearly see a Raspberry Pi controlling the hoist that lowers the bed (at 5:4...

Is .io ethical?
Is using the .io domain ethical? It is legal but is it right, even for a redirect? This is a general question as the profits from the .io domain, which represents the British Indian Ocean Territory or the Chagos Islands, do not seem to be going to the Chagos people or their representatives, unlike ....

Re: Pi2go lite: Pi won't boot and voltage regulator gets hot
We have a similar issue in that the Pi won't start when connected to the Pi2Go, but the voltage regulator is only getting hot when it is switched on.
Which GPIO pins would be shorting to stop the Pi from starting, as we accidentally put the Pi on only the outer GPIO pins and it started?
Thanks.

Re: Touchscreen desk, table, whiteboard, or wall
Consider using the camera with OpenCV to recognise fingers, pens and points near the screen then see what you can do from there.

Re: Educational Dance Game
Just read the posts.
Great sounding project.
Well done for keeping going - people were reading but not responding...
Hope you can package it and post it onto the Raspberry Pi Shoppe.

Re: ATX Power Supply for RPi
I've bought the following to use on a couple of old ATX power supplies. It comes with a big resistor too.
The main issue is that the breakout board is as big as the Pi and the ATX power unit is huge too.
