Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

You must have the HDMI plugged in to power the laptop. Do you have the lapdock hdmi connected to the pi and the micro usb from the lapdock going into the full size usb of the pi? You should not need to power the pi using the pi microusb. If that still doesn't work then you may have a hdmi cord witho...

Re: Berryboot v1.1 - Boot menu / OS installer

First I want to thank you for developing Berryboot. Exactly what I wanted, to be able to boot more than one OS. I have two questions, if you could help. First, I added addons for hdhomerun (driver for networked TV) and TVheadend in openELEC. It doesn't seem to recognize the addons. Is that because t...

Re: Mp3 Player

in File Manager, right click on the file and "Open with". Click the tab command line and type:
omxplayer %f in the box. Click the box where it says to always use it for that file type.

Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

As per the comment by FLRich on Drew's topic, he used the hdmi adapter I showed. I haven't received mine yet, so I can't confirm definitely that it works, but you are right that D is micro and C is mini. However, as usual, ebay descriptions are often confusing and conflicting. It says micro C, which...

Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

Thank you very much for the help. Is there an easy place to source the cables I will need? I'm incapable of cutting up USB wires like the others have. You may not need to splice any cables if you have a more recent version of the pi. Look to the right of the USB port and see if there are two fuses ...

Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

Hi guys, is anybody still selling these lapdocks for a reasonable price? Amazon wants £125 for them and the cheapest one on ebay is £80, CEX want £75 for a second hand one. I really want to try this out but I'm not having much luck sourcing a lapdock. Thanks! All4cellular has refurb and new lapdock...
