Re: Raspberry Pi and 4k @ 15Hz

Having got X running successfully at 4K, now I've found it's only got a 16bit colour depth. I tried creating an xorg.conf file specifying the colour depth to be 24 bit, but this cause X to segfault when starting. Any ideas? I've got video memory set to 256Mb.

Re: Raspberry Pi and 4k @ 15Hz

I've got the console successfully running at 3840x2160, but X seems to run at a lower res; xrandr reports 2400x1200. Do I need to change any X configurations to make this work? I'm on raspbian on an RPi2

Cheers,

Re: Raspberry used like CEC bridge ?

Probably a bit late to the party, but for the sake of others looking for a solution, another approach would be to use a bluetooth dongle instead of USB, as I believe it's easier to get the Pi to act as a bluetooth dev/input device than via USB. Another possibility would be to look for an application...

Re: Almost there. Need some help on audio!

The command to specify using the analog output should be: sudo amixer cset numid=3 1 and not numid=1 as said earlier (numid=1 sets the volume, numid=3 sets the playback route, which then would need to be specified) In any case, I'm having trouble getting both squeezeslave and xbmc working together -...
