A bit of a follow-up -- my main concern was to display the output from a bash script on the frame buffer. I realised this was easily done by simply directing the script to /dev/console. script.sh > /dev/console So, now I have my weather data on display, read line by line from a file updated by a cro...

Output bash/screen/etc to framebuffer over SSH

I have a TFT connected and available at /dev/fb1. Is there any way I can output an ordinary bash session to the framebuffer while logged in over SSH? Running bash > /dev/console works, but keypresses aren't echoed so it's not perfect. Does anybody know of a proper way to start bash/screen/whatever a...
