Dragino LoRa GPS HAT

Hi, I have just installed a Dragino LoRa/GPS HAT and followed the instructions on their website for GPS for setting up /dev/ttyS0. https://wiki.dragino.com/index.php?title=Getting_GPS_to_work_on_Raspberry_Pi_3_Model_B It works mostly, but I am very surprised at the amount of mis detected characters....

Re: Heads up - flightradar24

No, I was looking for something on fr24 and saw I was Basic. I rebooted the Pi a couple of times, the fr24feed (or whatever) service was running, seemingly happily. I also restarted the service. When I did the update I did see 3 lines relating to fr24 but did not make a note of them. On a further re...

Heads up - flightradar24

Hi all, I have a Pi (Model 2B 4.1.7-v7+ #817) serving flightradar24. Just looked at my online stats and nothing showing for the last week and have been downgraded to 'Basic". I hardly ever interact with this Pi, it sits there and does all my temperature logging, dump1090, flightradar etc but it seem...

Re: The most stubborn pi3 around. I HAVE GONE UP AND DOWN THE STICKY

I have also probed the power and ground pins on the board with a multimeter while using the CanaKit PSU and it read 5.13V and 2.56A. How did you measure the 2.56A? Where did you put the multimeter probes? the two outside pins on the micro USB in on the board. I would very seriously suggest you star...

Upgrade fails - sense-emu-tools : Depends: python3-gi-cairo

Hi, Just powered up my Pi Zero W for the first time in about 3 months so did an update + upgrade. The update seemed to go OK - same as a Pi 3 done as a test. uname -a Linux rpi19 4.14.71+ #1145 Fri Sep 21 15:06:38 BST 2018 armv6l GNU/Linux The upgrade failed with... +++ Reading package lists... Yet Another AP Stretch Problem

Hi, I have searched many forums for an answer to my problem. I am using Stretch on RPi 3 and I have at last managed to set up wlan0 as an access point and iptables through to eth0 (enx...) to be able to connect to the internet. What I am trying to do now is to route wlan0 to a second wifi dongle, wl...

Re: Improved forked-daapd (iTunes server)

@ejurgensen Thanks for the reply - sorry for the late update. Yes, I have corrected my sources.list and apt-get update now seems to complete. However I now get W: GPG error: http://www.gyfgafguf.dk jessie InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not availabl...

Re: Improved forked-daapd (iTunes server)

Hi, I have read post pages 50 - 53 but cannot find a solution. I am trying to sudo apt-get update (or ... install forked-daapd) on a RPi 3 Model B running 4.1.19-v7+ #858 SMP Tue Mar 15 15:56:00 GMT 2016 armv7l GNU/Linux. It seems to be trying to update / install http://www.gyfgafguf.dk/raspbian/jes...

Re: Multiple WiFi with mix of static and DHCP

@SurferTim Yes, just what I wanted. I now can connect with 3 of my local WiFis and can set them up as 2 static addresses and 1 DHCP by judicious editing and commenting out various parts of wpa_supplicant.conf in between reboots. (I got a bit carried away and now have 8 SSIDs set up with various comb...

Re: Multiple WiFi with mix of static and DHCP

Hi klricks, Thanks for the reply. I knew I should have added that what I require is what I require :) . I do not want to go down the MAC reservation route, I cannot predetermine what the router is going to assign beforehand. I can 'always use this address' after it has selected something for me. As ...

Multiple WiFi with mix of static and DHCP

Hi, I have searched this forum and done a lot googling, and tried many variation of setting this up but have not succeeded yet. I am trying to use the dhcpcd method with RPi 3. Stuffing it all in interfaces was the 'old' method, but I need to do it properly. What I need is to be able to connect to 2...

RPi 2 OSMC

Hi, not sure if this is the right area for this question. Just got my RPi 2 and the uSD card arrives today. I have a couple of old B PIs, one with XMBC on it. I was looking to get OSMC going on the 2. I have always started from a standard Rasbian OS download and then added XMBC on top. Is this the b...
