Re: Proxy school server

Probably what you need is a transparent proxy. Normally this would be on your default gateway. All traffic to port 80 will normally end up going through your gateway, so you set up an ip chains rule on the gateway to route all traffic to port 80 on the gateway via squid's port (3128 by default). Th...

Re: Run Programs

I have a second question.

Can i expand the file system of RISC OS on the pi?

Or doesn't RISC OS give the support?

I read a few posts on riscopen, but they all say that you have to expand it on the sd card with gparted in linux.

Re: Half-Life

Before you all descuss if they can/should port steam/steam like to the pi, consider that Half life 1 can run in dosbox  (after installing win 98).
So get the game and run it under Rasbian or Riscos

Oh: Do not extract the ZIP on windows, do not open it in windows. Transfer it to RISC OS and then open the ZIP. You are loosig the FileTypes this is why it opens the Run File in Edit, it thinks it is a text file. Also if you download the version of DOSBox from NO RISC NO FUN, you can just drag the ...

Re: Python-Pi-Game

There seem to be (at least) two issues here: 1. You create a list of characters - to simulate: >>> a = list("[[1,8,4],[5,4,9]]") >>> print len(a) 17 >>> a[1][1][1] = 1 Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> IndexError: string index out of range >>> ...this is due to ...

Re: Python-Pi-Game

well, it'd be a lot easier if your file was in the form [[1,8,4],[5,4,9]] (note the extra comma) - then you could probably just load it in as a string and use the eval() and list() functions to convert it to a proper list. That would be the quick and hacky way though. A proper way using what your m...
