RPI2B 7" touchscreen, matchbox-keyboard trouble

Hello
I am using latest, updated wheezy and matchbox-keyboard
but when I start that keyboard app the desktop goes crazy, all icons disappear.
After closing the keyboard app icons sometimes do come back on desktop and sometimes do not.
