Re: How many do you invision purchasing?

<t>Originally I was planning on five or six, but it's probably better for me just to grab one to get started, as they are all intended for different embedded applications and I'll only be able to work on one at a time anyway. Gives everyone else a better chance of nabbing one.  Plus I've just lost m...

Re: For headless deployment?

Just wondering what the community thinks might be suitable? I generally favour OpenBSD when I want rock-solid dependability on a headless box, although Ubuntu Server is these days so easy to get running it's just silly not to use it sometimes. What do you use?

Any gurus care t...

Re: A small screen for the raspberry pi

I've got a great little 7" touch-screen left over from a failed CarPC project... just waiting for a RaspberryPi to bolt onto the back of it! Can I place my order yet?

Re: How would you use a Raspberry Pi device?

<t>At this cost point, the possibilities are almost endless. As soon as they're up for retail, put me down for a six-pack (will there be quantity discounts?). I'd probably run one as a NAS, might experiment with Asterisk on another, test as a basic web server on one more, and save a couple for my ro...
