Re: smoother RGBW LED fading

Thanks, this stuff I need to learn obviously. Didn´t know the parameters can bes set for pigs.
A different processor is probably too much tech for me but I´ll google around.

Re: smoother RGBW LED fading

Hmm doesn´t make much sense to me to make the steps wider if already from 1 to 2 is a too big step, why should 1 to 3 be better? My problem is that I recognize the steps visibly like a step but I want to recognize it as a flow. Let´s assume I´d like to simulate a sunrise over 15 minutes. (I want a s...

smoother RGBW LED fading

I was experimenting with LED fading quite a while ago for a lightning clock. I controlled a RGBW strip once with milight however this was limited to 17 steps of brightness and I wasn´t really satisfied with that because I already woke up with the first step ;-) Now I started a more direct control th...

Same problem occurs from time to time here... haven´t found a real solution yet. I use Kingston and Sandisk cards. This prevented me from using the raspberry in any productive environment yet. :(

Re: Connect mpd to upnp?

I think I am currently trying something similar. raspberry -> commandline -> play mp3 to dlna device As far as I read in this thread as mentioned by kingosticks and FM81 this should be possible with Upmpdcli ? This is new terrain for me so I have some difficulties in understanding it right. I have M...

@mayrjohannes

Re: TUTORIAL - How to control a bipoloar 4 wire stepper moto

I tried that already (it is still on the rail of the dvd drive) and it looks like the rail is moving forward and backward. I made an output after the steps and it looks like the first two move forward and the last two move backward. I just don´t know what to make out of it. I tried some other type o...

PL15S-020

I was trying this tutorial with the PL15S-020 from an old DVD drive. However the motor is just making some noise and vibrating/jiggling. Usually this is when wired wrong however I took the settings from the specs file of the motor. http://robocup.idi.ntnu.no/wiki/images/c/c6/PL15S020.pdf The sequenc...

MI0283QT-9A Display guide for idiots (like me)

Hi, I am trying to get this tiny display MI0283QT-9A from watterott working with my raspberry but I got stuck. I read the stuff from dronus/notro/lallafa and gallot (thanks to you all for the engineering) but my display seems to do nothing. Since I am not very familar with compiling kernels and my l...

splitting voltage to < 3v3 after sensor

Hi, I know this is a more general question than related to the raspberry, however maybe someone can help me here. My knowledge is pretty basic on electronics so this may sound like a stupid question. I got a hall effect sensor A1325LUA-T which I want to read. It gives a linear analog output from 0 t...
