Maybe you don't even need to recompile it. The packages in Arch Linux are a simple tarball. Just type tar xf package.pkg.tar.gz and you get all binarys. If the librarys on which the packages depend are newer in Arch Linux than in raspbian the binarys won't work. If you want to recompile the package...
