Thanks! My problem was I kept tryping to setup my pc as DHCP server, wich probably is possible, but it's a lot more to figure out...

Anyway, I'll give it a try as soon as I get home, I don't think I'll be able to access my pi on the school's wifi and I don't have a spare monitor with me :mrgreen:

Great! I log in from my Windoze machine using putty, then use ultravnc. Works well! Could you tell me how you configured your avahi? I used the standard configuration from http://elinux.org/RPi_Advanced_Setup#Setting_up_for_remote_access_.2F_headless_operation and all putty tells me: Unable to open...
