Re: isc-dhcp-server fails to start.

Great to hear from someone having the same problems.

Could post me some links when you find a solution as I would love to get my pi working as a hotspot.

I think you are probably right regarding netmask sub net thingy.
Best Regards
Andy

isc-dhcp-server fails to start.

Hello, I am trying to setup my PI as a wifi hotspot. I have had a reasonable amount of success, in that I can search for the hotspot on my Samsung S4 and attempt to connect to it. This is where I have a problem - it never passes the obtaining ip address stage. I am using the tutorial at : http://lea...

Re: installing isc-dhcp-server

I did a "sudo apt-get update" at the start of the process. it appears that it went wrong when I issued the sudo apt-get install hostapd isc-dhcp-server command. Did you do a sudo apt-get update before running the install command? I suspect not, as the current isc-dhcp-client is 4.2.2.dfsg.1-5+deb70u...

Re: unable to save nano files when ssh'ing

Any ideas how I move the cursor in nano when using my nexus 10 tablet via connect not.
I notice I can scroll the page by sliding my finger on the left of the touch screen.

Are there similar features for moving the cursor?

Re: unable to save nano files when ssh'ing

Hi guys,

I have just installed connect not and ssh'd via this app and all appears to work well.

I will continue with connect not, but would be interested to see if there is a fix for my problem.

Kind regards
Andy

Re: unable to save nano files when ssh'ing

Juice SSH has a pop up keyboard extension which allows me to get to the first stage of the saving process. And prompts for the y or n option.
