Re: Raspberry Pi + Raspbian No Importing OpenVPN Profiles!

I came up with a solution to my problem, first I sold the Zero bought a Raspberry PI 2 and installed Ubuntu Mate instead of broken Raspbian then I did the steps above and it worked perfectly. Now I can run the Vuze torrent software and bind it to the VPN tunnel and safely download torrents with the ...

Raspberry Pi + Raspbian No Importing OpenVPN Profiles!

Anyone know why importing .opvn profiles no longer works in Raspbian? Here's my setup, first I installed Network manager Gnome and the network manager openvpn plugin for gnome, then I made sure I gave the network manager control over networking by disabling the default one. Next I go to import a sav...

Re: Sharing the Pi's Wifi Connection (Tutorial)

I'm trying to do this but instead of sharing connection to an Xbox, sharing to a TV. I can't connect initially to the Pi as I'm nowhere near the router so I use my dongle and the wifi connect icon on the desktop of wheezy. I can get all connected good but I run into problems when I install network ...

Re: Sharing the Pi's Wifi Connection (Tutorial)

your tutorial needs to use gnome :( many people use their pi headless, configuring it through SSH and server distros don't include GUI at all Yea this method is best for people new to linux. All the other network bridging tutorials on here are a bit too complicated for something as simple as sharin...

Sharing the Pi's Wifi Connection (Tutorial)

This is by far the easiest way to share the Pi's wifi connection via the ethernet port. I have an xbox with no built in wifi so I bought a pi to do the job. After weeks of searching I finally figured out an easy way to do it. Tun your Pi on and make sure it's connected to the internet with the ether...

Just posting to say thanks to the Openelec guys. Your OS has been the most stable for me when using xbmc. The other two had a lot of annoying issues.

How do you bridge the Pi's USB wireless connection?

Hey everyone I have a quick question. How do you create a network bridge between a Raspberry Pi with a USB wireless adapter ( I'm using the D-link dwa-131 usb adapter if that matters ) and a computer or xbox connected to the PI through the ethernet port? I have no idea how to set it up in debian as ...
