The cleanest way is what Gerrelt posted, using custom udev rule for automounting. For unmounting no real good solution if user removes the stick without explicitely unmounting it, a script can't protect against data loss.

I just found out some more info, I executed the wpa_supplicant command with a question mark. This will list all de parameters, but it will also list the drivers. Thanks for trying. ALSA works fine with the onboard chip. As with others, HDMI sound may require hdmi_drive=2 in the boot coonfig.txt file if TV set recognise Pi as DVI device instead of HDMI.

Wireless is really interesting, let me know your findings.

Looks like no one is using rhe xorg-xfbdev server. I can start it and basically works except no mouse input. Tried many differen -mouse settins, but no go.
