Re: Raspberry Pi 3 WiFI hotspot?

For those wanting an easy way to build a wifi hotspot with a captive portal and user management, you can use a simple script called Kupiki-Hotspot-Script that will perfom all in one step : https://github.com/pihomeserver/Kupiki-Hotspot-Script Once the script is executed, you will get : * A Wifi hots...

Re: Samba

Re: Shutdown Pi using PHP

Hi Sounds that the user used to run PHP has no right to execute UNIX root commands wich is a very good configuration. If you are sure about what you are doing with your pi, find the user running PHP, add it in the sudo users (give to the user the right to run shutdown only) and you will be able to e...

Re: Samba

When client users access a Samba share, they have to pass two levels of restriction. Unix permis...

Thanks Jeremy. Your guess was correct. I took the kernel from the image, lost few minutes before remembering to update the preload file and all went good for the first boot with the following command : #!/bin/sh ../Documents/Development/qemu/arm-softmmu/qemu-system-arm \ -kernel kernel.img \ -cpu ar...

Ok just feeling on another planet and lost ! :? - I was able to compile under Mac OS X the Qemu for Arm (i had to force only the Soft ARM else MIPS crashes) - I used the compiled kernel from xecdesign and downloaded the Raspbian image "2014-09-09-wheezy-raspbian" (i saw that newer versions don not w...

Re: Detect touch on glass table

Hi, Is your table transparent (or a little bit) ? If yes, maybe another solution could be to put under the table a camera connected to a Raspberry Pi and use OpenCV to detect finger's place with movement/color detection (for exemple the darkest spot in the picture could be a finger). It's not too ha...

Re: Ajouter des GPIO sur Rpi B+

Salut
