Did you ever get your rig up and running? I had a lot of issues with power, but finally have it working! Make sure that you the ground line for the LEDs it also tapped into the correct GPIO port. Thanks! I used root terminal and it worked.

Now when i run the script it starts off fine but after a few seconds the entire terminal window just fills with

I cannot for the life of me get the script to run. I'm a complete newbie with linux. Do I just open LXTerminal, cd to the desktop where i saved the script, then type sudo sh install-rtl8188cus.sh anyone have advice? or a great tutorial on running a basic script?
