Re: Webserver

I login into my Pi as root all the time and frankly all this stuff about it being dangerous is nonsense providing you don't do something stupid like delete files directories or disable essential services. Apache doesn't run under the pi user account so any changes required such editing scripts and ...

IndentationError

Code: Select all

#!/usr/bin/python

import time
import RPi.GPIO as GPIO
GPIO.setup(11, GPIO.IN)

while True:
	mybutton = GPIO.input(11)
	     if mybutton == False:
             print "giggle"
	     time.sleep(.2)
If I run this code I get an indentationError underlining the 'i' in if mybutton.

Please help

Thanks a million for the replies.

As soon as I get home I will follow both options and see what happens.

I have a feeling that in my passion for wanting to swim I dived into the deep end of the pond with water wings on and having a load of problems paddling. If you get what I mean.

Re: Definitive guide to wireless network.

If plugging in the card and booting to the desktop open the Gui based manager is the card recognized. If so add your settings and go you may have to check the /etc/interfaces/network and make sure auto wlan0 is in the file. If your not using a powered usb hub then that is most likely your issue and...
