Re: Kodi 15.0-rc1 Debian package for Raspbian on RPi 2

I just installed this as the crash on exit annoyed me. It works!

On first launch, it advised RC2 is available. I see it was only a few hours ago, could this be compiled and made available?

Thanks, gkreidl. Good work :)
Your sig makes me want to ask: is there a browser that will run within Kodi?

Re: CSS not working on coder

As you have it there, "main.css" should be located in the same folder as your html.

Re: HDMI display issues with TV

I was struggling with a very similar issue last night myself - hdmi>dvi on a Hanns monitor rescued from a skip gave very unstable image with pink and white lines all over. All the forum posts seemed to suggest poor quality cable, but I don't give up easily! I noticed that using the same pi and cable...

Re: Stereoscopic Raspberry Pi Camera ISSUE!

I was reading this thread thinking the same thing as Mikerr says above - use a mechanical method such as prisms and or mirrors to get stereo images from the sensor. Something I have been meaning to try out myself when time allows... Good overview here: http://www.lhup.edu/~dsimanek/3d/stereo/3dgalle...

Re: Recommended games from the Repository?

We just discovered Powermanga a vertical shooter with fun graphics and sound. Loads of power ups and varied baddies. Thumbs up from the kids (and Dad). Runs well under X, haven't figured out how to put it fullscreen yet. http://linux.tlk.fr/games/Powermanga/ Exactly the kind of thing we were looking...

Recommended games from the Repository?

Hi, I was browsing the repository with aptitude and my sun looked over my shoulder and spotted the games category - "ooh games! Can we play something?" We tried one or two but the quantity is a bit overwhelming, so I'm asking for recommendations. Whilst I'm happy with roguelikes and minesweeper, I g...

Re: C64 emulator

Thanks for the reply. There must be a problem with my keyboard mapping as f12 does nothing (although F-keys do work in general elsewhere on the pi) Once the game has loaded I can see that space changes the difficulty setting, but that's the only response I can get :( 'q' doesn't quit. I'll try some ...

Re: HOWTO: YouTube on the Raspberry Pi - sans X B-)

This should be fixed in the very latest version Just confirming that it is indeed fixed. Many Thanks. I've realised now that the 'user' option in yt is for searching by uploader rather than logging into accounts  Would still love to be able to create or access playlists if anyone has ideas fo...

Re: C64 emulator

Hi, Bunch of NOOB questions here... :) I thought it would be fun to play some c64 games on the pi and have managed to install VICE (note I've never even used VICE/x64 before). My biggest issue is that it launches fullscreen and I can't work out how to access emulator option or quit, I'm have to ssh ...

Re: HOWTO: YouTube on the Raspberry Pi - sans X B-)

First off, thanks for this HOWTO. It's great to watch youtube on the telly without being distracted by comments and 'the next most interesting vid in the side bar' :) Like others I am seeing vids cut off a few seconds early - I tried to update Omxplayer but it reports it's the latest version and the...
