Re: Terminal on ePaper

Could a serial loopback device be created that directs the console output to an application for driving the e-Paper display? perhaps that could be used to work around the need for modifying the Kernel for native support.

Re: Terminal on ePaper

SgtPembry, I too would like to do the same with the 4.2 Inch waveshare module I just received. after reading this thread about the need for a Kernel level driver I will redirect my efforts towards building a serial terminal with an ESP32 Arduino board. the serial interface should be a viable work ar...

Re: [VIDEO]RaspBerry Pi Running... SuperTux

What is the timing limitation of the composite output? I have been looking everywhere, but have yet to find the technical limitations of the RCA output. I'd like to try using it to generate the Y signal for component video signals. it could be used for a frame-buffered monochrome green screen display.

Re: dvb-t

I would think dvb-t decoding on the Pi would save energy, rather then using a full powered PC.

on another note, what about DVB-t encoding?

Re: HiFi audio player

Is there a suitable 192/24bit ADC chip to complement the AD1896 part? Hi all with V2 hardware coming out soon I am not working on the hardware end of this at the moment. This is because the new hardware version specifically assists those of us wanting to use i2s. I have however been working on the s...

Re: I2S: Anyone got it running?

not to arm chair engineer things here, but you folks might want to take a look at this site with S/PDIF and TOSLINK interfaces. http://www.epanorama.net/documents/audio/spdif.html from what I gather it should be very cheap to add on a set of SPDIF inputs and outputs for the Pi.

Re: SPDIF and ypbpr

it would be nice to be able to edit a post, so I can add information to a list rather then several. always, here is more information on S/PDIF http://www.epanorama.net/documents/audio/spdif.html it might prove easier to implement rather then DAC and ADC parts directly, as it's just a synchronous dat...

Dual display setup option

Can the RCA video output generate the Green channel for Red/Green/Blue component based HD video? My reasoning for this is the SYNC on Green timing information included on that channel. Granted it's going to look like vintage green screen CRT terminals of decades gone by. but should be more then adeq...
