Where to purchase Arcade Controls?

Have successfully set up Mame on the Pi but the keyboard is not an optimal solution for gaming so keen to purchase some arcade controls. I had hoped the Pimoroni would stock them but they don't seem to. Any recommendations for where to purchase controls from?

Inconsistency with second RaspberryPi

My first RaspberryPi experience was a success with everything working straight away. None of the SD card or power supply problems others have experienced. The first Pi has been passed onto a friend and having one problem with the new Pi. It seems a bit more sensitive on USB peripherals than the prev...

Spinrite and SD Cards

Nice mention of Raspberry Pi in this weeks 'Security Now' http://twit.tv/show/security-now/358 (roughly half way through at a guess) as someone writes in to tell how they used the Spinrite problem to fix a problem a non-working SD card. Good tip if you are already a Spinrite owner but the license is...

Re: At the Prompt, Now What?

I think there is a large amount of Windows literacy out there that does not easily translate to general computer literacy (bit of a generalisation as I am sure there are Windows experts here who can apply themselves more generally). Not sure there is an easy solution but the fact the Raspberry Pi is...

First Impressions

Another first impressions post. Had some time over the weekend to try out a Raspberry Pi. Not very well prepared as other than a USB Power supply from RS I was borrowing components from around the house so I was a bit concerned about SD Card compatibility, power hungry keyboards and other issues tha...

There was a Sinclair Spectrum emulator running on a Pi at the 30th Anniversary event in London. I believe it was a port of Fuse.

It all so had the brilliant feature of having all the basic commands printed on the keyboard. Great for a spot of "what does that do?" learning!
