Re: Connection lost on BME280 sensor

And it´s not working... Sensor recorded 27 hours and then 0x77 disappeared. Is there any way to log what is happening in i2c? I observe the same behaviour with BME680. After some time (several hours), the sensor does not respond to I2C commands any more. In this case i2cdetect does not find the sen...

Re: Package "console-data" missing on Buster?

Hi! This issue disappeared into thin air. A couple of days ago, updated failed to do its job: Of course, I had checked for updates: root@raspberrypi:/home/pi# apt-get update Hit:1 http://raspbian.raspberrypi.org/raspbian buster InRelease Hit:2 http://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian buster InRelease R...

Re: Package "console-data" missing on Buster?

Have you changed *any* files under /etc/apt at all? That's all I can think of at the moment. No, not that I know of. Also see this: pi@raspberrypi:~ $ tree -D /etc/apt /etc/apt ├── [May 27 09:31] apt.conf.d │   ├── [May 12 11:57] 01autoremove │   ├── [May 27 09:10] 01autoremove-kernels │   ├── [Mar...

Re: Package "console-data" missing on Buster?

I agree. I have installed "Stretch" several times without problems. This is the first time I installed "Buster", so I reported here. The file I downloaded was "2020-05-27-raspios-buster-armhf.zip" Here is the output you asked for: pi@raspberrypi:~ $ apt policy Package files: 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status...

Package "console-data" missing on Buster?

Hello, just installed "Raspberry Pi OS (32-bit) with desktop" from here , plugged the sd card into my Raspi 3, booted and checked that Internet access is working. Re: Older Version of Raspbian

For anyone looking for older versions of Raspbian Lite, they are located here http://downloads.raspberrypi.org/raspbian_lite/images/ Thanks for re-activating a dead post. @Texy posted the same info more than 2 years ago (see above) I can find nothing wrong with adding new information to an old thre...

Re: fsck vs. fake-hwclock ordering

This is 3 years old but today I stumbled across this issue as well on Raspbian Stretch . For completeness, I add my findings: The order of execution seems random. In "journalctl", I've seen "fsck" run before "fake-hwclock" and also the other way round. I guess, the startup scripts are executed in a ...
