Yall are geniuses thank you so much. As you guys suspected all I needed to do was run it as python 3 and it worked.

Bluepy "(" unexpected

So I was running this code: from bluepy.btle import scanner scanner = Scanner() devices = scanner.scan(10.0) for device in devices: print("DEV = {} RSSI = {}", format(device.addr, device.rssi)) and I run it from terminal using: chmod +x RSSI_ScanTest.py sudo ./RSSI_ScanTest.py and I get the error: ....

Hi all for some reason whenever I do this exactly, after installing everything and followings all of the steps it says no module called bluepy found
