Re: unable to format 64GB Sandisk Ultra

So how do I flash this card manually? or? I've installed the Manjaro image on to a 64GB card. I got one of the latest Manjaro images from here: https://manjaro.org/download/#raspberry-pi-4 (I chose the XFCE version, but I tried the KDE one, and it works fine too, only a little slower to boot up) To...

Re: F2FS image available for testing

That may be a bug rather than a feature. I'm yet to look into why it's doing a full scan on each boot. Is it an fsck? Is there a safe config change that avoids the scan? Try finding the line in /etc/fstab and changing the last number to a 0. Thanks - that works. It disables *any* automated fscking ...

Have you selected a sticky default OS to boot into each time? If you have it will prevent the boot menu coming up on each boot, requiring shift and esc as you mentioned to change the OS. Yes, that is what I had done. I've deselected the "Sticky" selection now because I want to see the menu every ti...

Also look at forcetrigger and remote_timeout options.
I tried that, and I combined it with vncshare and ssh options :o I was able to remote into the PINN embedded Linux recovery/maintenance OS, which will be helpful sometimes, like if I ever want screenshots of the UI :)

Thank you!

I also need GPU acceleration for OpenGL. If you could get by with 3D acceleration in some other 64-bit Linux with recent libraries, then could you also consider other 64-bit distros? Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

Question.... Why is Manjaro really outdated with PINN and why isn't Ubuntu 20.04 in the list? I installed Manjaro using PINN last Friday (July 3) and it booted fine - it did hit a problem with the Manjaro update, but that didn't stop it working. It installed the 20.04 release. There is a more recen...

Thank you for your help here, and your work with PINN - it's made me want to buy a bigger SD card, or perhaps repurpose an SSD that isn't getting much use at the moment! It's not preferred, but yes, you should be able to grow or shrink partitions afterwards. If you want to add a data partition retro...

Does PINN have any special support for shared data partitions?

I'd like to have a partition with a few GB of data shared between the OSs on my SD card?

Is it clever or wise to share swap files, or home directories to make better use of space on an SD card?

Does your question imply that the rev 1.2 fixed this issue, too and no longer needs that debug parameter? Maybe. It is supposedly fixed in a revision after 1.1 but nobody has confirmed it is fixed on 1.2. https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=274553#p1664664 explains why it breaks...

BubbleUpnpServer is a nice way to add Open Home playlist support to the ChromeCasts in my house.
