i have the adafruit PiTFT image on my sd card and wont boot to an hdmi output so i cant test on my tv at the moment, im trying to borrow a friends sd card to test the code on a brand new raspbian install to see if that works. any other help or suggestions would be great, like i said it works when vn...

tkinter and pitft

im trying to make a GUI to use on the piTFT from adafruit but whenever i run the skript it freezes on the piTFT. the GUI was working just fine when i used vnc on my desktop to write the GUI. any suggestions wand help would be great

ive checked what version of gpio im using and i have 0.5.6 which is what i thought was needed to use the model B+ gpio pins. still cant fiqure out why i cant use the extra GPIO pins... :x

im using a model B+ raspberry pi and using some of the GPIO pins and am getting the error "channel sent is invalid on the raspberry pi" when trying to set any gpio over 26 to an output. i have it set to gpio.setmode as BOARD and have tried numerous gpio pins but still get the same error. any suggest...

run from boot

im just wondering if there would be a problem running a python script from boot that takes user input via raw_input? i tried putting it in /etc/init and it freezes up on startup. any suggestions on how to run the script from boot so that itll accept raw_input

i already tried this in troubleshooting but i figure ill try here too so i recently got a PiTFT from adafruit to use with my model B+, everything seems to be working just fine, it does want me to calibrate each time i startX bbut i believe thats just because its a beta version of the model B+ rasbia...

yea i realized that, such a silly mistake :roll: and i also made separate callable functions for moveing the stepper, the codes performing well and ive added the features i wanted now just got to try and make some sort of GUI for it since i ordered the PiTFT :D

ill put in a check to make sure that the Vaxis and Haxis values can never be larger than shots.

but im still curious as to how ill make the movement stop sometime during the timelapse but it continues to take a shot?
