Re: DraStic DS emulator for RPi 2/3 - beta testers wanted

First off I have to say that this is a fantastic emulator! I am running RetroPie v4.1 on a RPI3 with the prebuilt binary version of Drastic. Almost all of the games that I have tried run at 100% speed: -Tony Hawk's American Sk8land -Mario kart DS -Pokemon Black -New Super Mario Bros. (minor graphica...

Re: DraStic DS emulator for RPi 2/3 - beta testers wanted

Glad to see DraStic make it to the RPI 2/3! I remember contacting you a few years back about this when there was only the RPI 1. I would be very interested in doing some beta testing for you. I have both the RPI 2 and RPI 3. Thanks for the great work Exophase!

Re: Nintendo DS in Retropie

Thanks for the clarification Welshy. I know the RPI isnt powerful enough to ever achieve full speed but it would be a fun proof of concept even if it ran at 1-5 fps

Re: Nintendo DS in Retropie

Hello, there is a closed source DS emulator for Android that runs many games full speed. It requires the NDS BIOS and interprets the code so it is VERY fast! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dsemu.drasticdemo I have contacted the dev before and asked for a port but he said that it w...

Re: Cannot execute /etc/init.d/rc (or rcS)

I ran fsck on my root partition "/dev/mmcblk0p2" and it said that it was clean. I also ran Gparted's 'check' on it and it said it was clean as well. Still getting the same error when booting.

SNES controller Adafruit GPIO cable Tutorial

While messing around with my Raspberry Pi and some retro controllers, I felt that there were just to many messy wires. (bread boarding, patch wires, etc.) I then found that the Adafruit ribbon GPIO cable would fit inside of the SNES controller port. I then decided that this would make an awesome mod...

Classic Gameboy USB Controller

Hello everyone, I am working on a modded Classic Gameboy that works as a USB controller. Just thought I'd post what I have made so far. I made it just to get that nostalgic feel when playing Gameboy emulation on my Raspberry Pi (Didn't have it with me so I had to use my laptop for the video). It use...

Re: RetroArch Emulator Frontend

YAY! I fixed my audio problems! I feel like an idiot, I was trying to change the retroarch.cfg in the /home/pi/RetroPie/RetroArch-Rpi folder. Turnsout the real retroarch.cfg is located here /etc/retroarch.cfg I ran "sudo nano retroarch.cfg" and changed the audio options to audio_enable = true, audio...

Re: RetroArch Emulator Frontend

First off I have to say great work! The only problem I am having is when I run any game (NES, GB, SNES, etc) the sound works amazing, but only for 30 seconds then it quits. I am using the latest Raspbian, 3.5 audio (audio_out_rate=44100) , 192/64 memsplit, and turbo mode. If anyone knows how to fix ...
