Re: Streaming mjpg from Raspberry Cam

I have been now testing to run the streaming by launching it from terminal. Is there any way to graciously exit terminal so that the streaming remains online? Or should it be run through some kind of script so it just starts streaming when power is on?

Re: DEFINITE Raspi DSi screen list

The camera module took over a year to materialise after the announcment - the display module hasn't been announced yet. Note that the RPF does rarely post progress updates on their internal projects . ghans Well, since they have a display interface, would be interesting to hear confirmation that th...

I tested now using only the console and it pretty much always shuts down. On the graphical linux side it always hangs up.

In any case the streaming works super good now :)

Re: Streaming mjpg from Raspberry Cam

Thanks for the swift reply MacHack. Indeed that was first problem. Second was that I had to use... export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. For it to properly start after the make. Everything seems to work well in respect to streaming. Now it is acceptable speed. So hats off for the solution. I dont know what is th...

replace the file mjpg-streamer/mjpg-streamer-experimental/plugins/input_raspicam/input_raspicam.c by the one you've just extracted. Then build mjpeg-streamer. Hello MacHack and thanks for your contribution. Im really looking forward to get some decent fps out of the raspicam. The current performanc...

Re: Berryboot v1.1 - Boot menu / OS installer

Could I have installed the pibang without the berryboot? Was that unnecesary since I only intend to just get the PiBang running. If you only want Pibang, and do not want to give any other distribution a try, you do not need Berryboot. Can write your image to SD card with win32diskimager or similar ...

Re: DEFINITE Raspi DSi screen list

It seems very odd to me that the whole DSI interface is provided but absolutely no information that what one can plug in it!

Has anyone found functional screen that can be used with the DSI interface?!

This is quite frustrating :D
