Voltage and current on a GPIO pin RPi-Arduino

Hey, I'm doing a project where I need to connect an IR LED to a RPi GPIO pin, so from code I can turn it ON and OFF, my question is, as the IR LED datasheet says that the nominal voltage is 1.5V and forward current is 50mA, I've read that GPIO pins give 3.3V and a maximum of 16mA, so I'll need a res...

RPi and Arduino with multiple sensors

Hey! what do you think is a better idea in terms of simpliness/efficiency for connecting multiple sensors (all different, for example a MPU6050, BMP180, etc), collecting data over time and send it via wifi or another wireless connection to a PC? The simplest I know is to connect sensors to Arduino, ...

Raspberry Pi, Arduino Nano, MPU6050

Hi, I wanna know if there is a way to connect RPi to Arduino Nano without using USB, yet allowing me to upload code from RPi to Arduino and also being able to connect Arduino Nano with MPU6050 via I2C.
