Re: Free real-time relational database for the Raspi

Thanks for all the help guys. Been a bit of a busy weekend so haven't managed to give it a try again but will hopefully get a chance this week.

Will post back once I have it working and hopefully do a blog about it to help others.

Re: SQLite3 and SQL Server 2008

Thanks. After a bit more research I realised the differences. I have found a .NET dll that can access SQLite db's so using that.

Re: Free real-time relational database for the Raspi

I have watched the video and really like what Polyhedra can do. Is there perhaps an install procedure anywhere that I can follow to get it set up and running. I have had a look at http://developer.polyhedra.com/how-to-guides/controlling-the-gpio-lines-of-a-raspberry-pi guide but from what I can see ...

Polyhedra database

Has anyone set up Polyhedra on the Raspberry Pi. There is a video on their website on how to use it but I can't seem to find how to install it anywhere.

If anyone has a tutorial or some tips I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Re: Raspberry Pi not booting up

Unfortunately I don't have a multimeter with me. I have checked the Raspberry Pi schematic and as far as I can see F3 must be OK. The PWR LED is connected to 3V3 which comes from 5V after the F3 fuse so this implies that F3 is OK. A red LED only needs 1.6-2.0V to light, so it's not a reliable way t...

Raspberry Pi not booting up

My Raspberry Pi has been running for weeks without any problems. All of a sudden this afternoon I couldn't log into it. I noticed that it wasn't running as I tried to log in through the serial port and this didn't work as it normally does. I switched the power off and then on again in case it crashe...

Re: Serial program

I have been using Minicom for years. Minicom, like VIM is hard to get use to. It was originally a TTY Terminal pgm used with a modem. I recently discovered Screen will work as a Serial Term as well. You may have to install screen with apt-get install screen. The command to use screen as a raw Termi...

I have tried setting apache to load with port 8080 and then opened that port on my router as well. I then went to gregpi.dyndns.org:8080 and got the same error.

I am with TalkTalk. Will try check if they block port 80

Thanks for the advice. As far as I can see mod_wsgi is enabled and here are the last few lines of the error log. By the look of the log mod_wsgi is installed for Python2.7.2 but I am using Python3 so this might be an issue. Will try reinstall and see what happens. [Mon Oct 15 14:28:30 2012] [error] ...

I was trying your example that you posted on Sun Jun 17, 2012 6:21 pm.

I also came across webiopi the other day but wanted to start with something simple like your example but I guess I should just jump into the webiopi example and get it going.

Thanks
