Re: RPi 4 wont boot

It does sound like something has broken. Should be covered under warranty depending on where in the world you are. I just got over the 6 month warranty. I am in India. Any chance of repair? No, these sorts of devices are on the whole unrepairable for less than the cost of a new device. Thats too bad

Re: RPi 4 wont boot

is that with or without a cable connected to the LAN/router ? With. Nothing without. Then you pi is confirmed as dead. However, this device always shows the yellow light on the ethernet port? Is that a sign of any life?

Re: RPi 4 wont boot

It would seem that your pi4 is dead then :( Is this a new pi4 that has never booted or one you have been playing with ? I have booted into this a total of two times. Both of the times, I have just written some simple python code and kept this aside. This is not that new. It has been around 6 months...

Re: RPi 4 wont boot

If you remove the SD card and then power your pi does the green LED flash 4 times repeatedly ? What is the red LED doing while you are trying to boot your pi with the SD card in place ? The red LED remains constant. No change whatsoever whatever I do. The green LED doesn't do anything even when I h...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 bootloader corrupt, can't update EEPROM with recovery.bin

Any LED not blinking or staying on does not mean your RPI computer is broken if you are using a laptop that uses LED lights to tell you when CAPS LOCK or NUM LOCK is on, then you replace the keyboard with a third keyboard that does not have any LED lights you can't assume the keyboard is broken no ...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 bootloader corrupt, can't update EEPROM with recovery.bin

I already solved it .... format the sd card with sd Card Formatter but in overwrite format and then download the rpi-boot-eeprom-recovery-2019-09-10 and insert it into the PI and it worked as it started to flash green led Even with this, nothing seems to work for me. I tried different cards, differ...

Were you messing with the Pi's GPIO?
Nope. I haven't even downloaded the GPIO thingy for python yet.

RPi 4 wont boot

I read some other stuff on the forums, but it seems like this is unique. My Raspberry pi, which used to boot, somehow stopped booting. The green light shows for a fraction of second, then its gone. I tried changing the SD card, the power supply, and flashed the OS multiple times. Nothing works. Help...
