apt-get doesn't work due to "dpkg: error processing..."

When I try to make an installation of any kind I get messages that I have "unmet dependencies": You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these. The following packages have unmet dependencies: perl : Depends: perl-modules (>= 5.14.2-21+rpi2+deb7u1) but 5.14.2-12+rpi1 is installed But whe...

Re: Get Netgear WG111T to work to the Pi

Add Debian Backports sources to /etc/apt/sources.list, also including the "non-free" component. sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list DO NOT DO THAT! You WILL destroy your Raspbian installation if you add the DebIan repos. Solution Please! Ghans already explained things, and I also said that after instal...

Re: Get Netgear WG111T to work to the Pi

Yes, that is probably wise, however, as long as no other solution is present, this it a solution. But if you have any other solution to the problem, please let us know, but til then this is a way to be able to use the dongle on the Raspberry Pi, after installation it might be a good idea to remove t...

Get Netgear WG111T to work to the Pi

I had an old USB WiFi dongle laying around, I thought it would be useful for a Raspberry Pi instead of just collecting dust. I attached it and looked at the dmesg info it said: usb 1-1.4: Product: WG111T usb 1-1.4: Manufacturer: Atheros Communications Inc usb 1-1.4: SerialNumber: 1.0 usb 1-1.4: no f...

Re: Any had any ideas for a Raspberry PiPad?

Just for the record...
A guy Michael Castor made a tablet out of a Raspberry Pi and an LCD.

Re: microphone with camera module

The Pi has no direct audio input. You have to use an external converter and then connect it to one of the standard interfaces: SPI, I2C USB or with the new board: I2S. To add a microphone to the camera would not be impossible but the camera connector on the Pi has two interfaces: CSI and I2C. Altho...

Re: I2S: Anyone got it running? (answer is yes!)

For you guys that got it working, does this mean you have mic input to your raspberry pi without a USB soundcard?

If this device works well: Is it time to start a kickstarter project to start a production of this device?

Re: Motion - MMAL camera

Hi thanks for the answer, but it is a vanilla raspbian, I just used "sudo su" so I don't have to write sudo before every command, is there a catch with that?

Yours sincerely,

Re: samba4 runnin on pi?

I have compiled and configured SAMBA4 to run on Raspberry Pi. I compilied it natively and it took like 2 days. Now I run Raspberry Pi as Primary Domain Controller at home, $35 PDC in a cardboard box. The procedure is flat out of the HowTo at the SAMBA4 wiki and it works like a charm. http://wiki.sam...
