Re: Help with "typedef statements for ARMV6 (32bit) CPU

Right, think I've complied it. Apart from the warnings it looks good. With a makefile how do I install it now? What a mission this is turning out to be. LOL. This is to test the Plato system running under NOS on an emulated Cyber 862 mainframe. The change in the makefile was for some X11 stuff. Need...

Re: Help with "typedef statements for ARMV6 (32bit) CPU

Right got you.. that got by the error now and bombed out with another. looks like its my X11 environment. ITs complains about "/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lX11" which I see is in /usr/loca/bin. Should I link this to the /usr/bin directory? Or will that cause other problems? [email protected]:/home/rcraig/cyb...

Re: Help with "typedef statements for ARMV6 (32bit) CPU

This is getting weird. I edited the makefile with the new paths but it still complains about the Xlib.h. :o Here is the file [email protected]:/usr/local/include/X11 # ls Xlib.h Xlib.h [email protected]:/usr/local/include/X11 # Permisions are fine: -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 99532 Mar 23 01:18 Xlib.h [email protected]:/hom...

Re: Help with "typedef statements for ARMV6 (32bit) CPU

Yep, my Xlib.h file is in/usr/local/include/X11/ but it's the format and syntax I'm not sure about. How to correctly state that in the makefile.

Re: Help with "typedef statements for ARMV6 (32bit) CPU

Thanks for that. I can now get further with the compiling via the makefile. Another thing if I may? I get an error: fatal error: 'X11/Xlib.h' file not found which i think is due to different paths? I have X11 installed in /usr/local/include/X11 The makefile has these flags. What do I need to modify ...

Help with "typedef statements for ARMV6 (32bit) CPU

Hi all, Excuse my lame programming questions here. I'm a beginner. Re: root password for 2012-08-16-wheezy-raspbian.zip

Thanks for the reply. I see in the passwd file there is one. :( I don't know why it was not included in the text on the download page?? Strange??

[email protected] ~ $ cat /etc/passwd
root:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash

I use sudo but I need root.
Cheers,
Rob

Re: Install DosEmu Raspberrypi debian Wheezy

I wanted Dosemu because I'm using a guide and vmodem software which uses Dosemu...

Don't think it will work with Dosbox and Qemu.
