Raspberry Pi Tablet V2

In a previous post: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=257991 I raised the topic of Raspberry pi as a suitable base mother board for a tablet, and then when on to state that I would first be making the enclosure, so that I could complete this project... well, this is version 2: ...

The screen is now rotating, but the touch coordinates did not rotate - how do I rotate touch? (it's fine if it's another command line)

Re: Raspberry Pi Zero - Version 2?

Yes, but the 4Gig's of ram in the Model 4 B+ is a real winner...

B.T.W... why is there no Model 4 A+ (assuming that would follow the patter of a basic board without NIC and USB block)

When using FKMS/DRM you can use xrandr I believe to change the orientation once all is up and running.
Awesome that its possible!
I have not used FKMS/DRM or xrandr... do you have some sample code or can you point me in the right direction.

Realtime Screen Rotation

If I have the official 7" Raspberry Pi Screen with Touch... and i want to be able to rotate the screen in realtime (like any phone/tablet), what septs would I need to take. Raspberry Pi Zero - Version 2?

The Raspberry Pi Zero is a fantastic little board - ultra compact etc... but it is very low on the CPU & RAM side.

Any plans for an update to mach say the 4B?

P.S. My 2c: If you do... I wouldn't bother bringing out a version without the WiFi/BT.

Re: Powering a RP4 with PiJuice & 5000mAmp battery

I'd personally check the wires, it's possible they're very thin, many batteries only come with thin wires capable of about 1A at 3.7v, you need to replace them if they're too thin. I'm using these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10cm-Dupont-Jumper-Wire-Ribbon-Cable-for-Pi-GPIO-Pic-AVR-Arduino-Breadboar...

Is there some kind of utility for monitoring power loads on the Raspberry Pi side. I'm able to see loads quite easily on the PiJuice side, but not the Pi side? Re: Powering a RP4 with PiJuice & 5000mAmp battery

One presumes that by "5000mAmp" you actually mean 5000mAh. Correct, sorry... yes, its this one: https://uk.pi-supply.com/products/pijuice-5000mah-battery?_pos=2&_sid=ac8e2ee11&_ss=r Their document however states this: Output amperage - maximum current at 5V GPIO is 2.5A and at VSYS output 2.1A, but...

Powering a RP4 with PiJuice & 5000mAmp battery

I'm powering my Raspberry Pi 4 with a PiJuice and a 5000mAmp battery, but the little "lightning bolt" is permanently on the screen. I have monitored the PiJuice UI, and can see loads vary from 2.1Amp to 3.0Amp, so by that i'm assuming that the power is being delivered to the Pi (via the GPIO) correc...

I see the Pi4 is simply going to draw too much power from the current range of batteries and controllers. Most of what im finding online is referring to Raspberry Pi 2 and 3.
