Re: Pi 4 HDMI audio distorted (but only with specific TV)

I'm having a similar issue but it doesn't seem related to the 1080p although I'm not sure. My sound was working fine and I didn't make any changes and now it sounds garbled. I have no workaround and not sure what the cause of it is. Mine is sometimes intermittent. Have you discovered anything new?

Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspbian Buster

Thank you! I think I may have figured it out? I did a test going to Youtube and got no sound. DId a sound test and that didn't work either. I read some forums and went to the config.txt and uncommented out hdmi_force_hotplug=1 rebooted and so far not having an issue. Also I uncommented HDMI_drive=2 ...

Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspbian Buster

Thank for the response! That setting is already turned off. I can start again, would you want to see the log in case there is something that can be fixed? Or are you thinking this is related to the skin helper service? The other issue which I believe is related is the audio cut out and changes. I ha...

Is this the best place to post about issues?

Thanks!

Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspbian Buster

Ah okay cool. Thanks for the response. I'm assuming I'll have to wait for an update on the skin helper. I don't see any issues other that there are error warnings every time I start Kodi

Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspbian Buster

Hi!

I'm using script helper to run estuary mod v2 and seem to be getting errors. Can anyone diagnose the issue? Anyone using script helper on their build?

Kodi updated to 18.5 and all binary addons also updated to latest stable version.
No specific Raspbian changes.

Just update and upgrade the packages has you normally do.*

*Note that this packages are not yet available on Raspberry Pi repos, you have to wait a little bit.
Thank you!

Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspbian Buster

Any chance you'll be updating to 18.5? There's an issue with 18.4 where it doesn't leverage the commercial skip files. I don't mean to pressure, just was curious what the plans are or if it's something I could do on my own?

Thank you for the hard work!

Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspbian Buster

Hi! Any ETA on when this will be updated to 18.5? I got everything set up for 18.4, thank you! On 18.4 there is a bug where the EPG files isn't being picked up for commercial skip and I don't believe there is an 18.3 version.

Thank you for getting this up to version 18!

Hi! I see that they just released Kodi 18.5. If you guys decide to update, would I need to uninstall the current software and then reinstall? Or should I be able to update once you make an update on your side? Keep up the great work! -Flyingsubs hi.. I think it is better to go with official Kodi Ra...
