Re: Pi Power Tools: General Purpose Disk Image & SD Card Manager

Thanks for your reply. I had turned off passwordless-sudo ability. I turned it back on and its working fine. Thankyou. Excellent software support. So, a feature request, could the option for the user to enter the password at the time PPt creates the image be implemented? Rather than disabling need s...

Re: Pi Power Tools: General Purpose Disk Image & SD Card Manager

The option to create incremental images is really interesting but when attempting to create an image of my SD card using the following procedure:

IMG MODE -> SD to IMG, specify name and location, click OK

I get the error:

sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified

Thanks

multi threading in c

Hi I am looking to build an app to expand my coding skills that will likely include multithreading in the form of a 3d renderer. I expect to have to learn a new language to achieve this. Currently I only know python. C looks interesting but I'm unclear how well c lends itself to multithreading. So, ...

Re: TOR (Onion) Browser running on RPi4 reliably

Hey

Would it be feasable to put vorta for borbackup into pi apps. As far as I know there is no backup solution on the pi that also has a gui. Not normally a problem but if you're using your pi as a nas, backup options become important.

Awesome app (pi apps) by the way.

Re: eDEX-UI sci-fi hacker terminal running on Pi4

if you ever come across an on screen keyboard that actually works and is well integrated with the rest of the system, please include it in Pi-Apps.
100% agree.

Re: Running Zoom on RPi: made easy with Pi-Apps - the new RPi app store

Thanks for this.

Pi-Apps installed fine.

Chromium media edition and TBOplayer installed fine.

It makes me think it could be something like EPEL repo for centos. The base repo has what you need, EPEL has what you want.

ufw blocking samba share to windows10 but not to centos7

RPi4b running raspberry pi os with a samba share. Windows 10 can't access local rasperry pi 4b samba share if ufw is enabled while another local centos7 box can. If I disable ufw windows works fine. How do I let windows through ufw? Let me know what info you need. I'm not sure what's safe to share. ...

Re: 'filesystem not supported' error mounting cifs share after running apt full-upgrade

I rebooted but the problem persists.

Before reboot df pointed to a partition on a second sd card (via usb adapter) mounted at /boot. I removed the adapter before rebooting but problem persists. df now points to correct partition mounted at /boot though.

@pi-anazazi: I thought it might be the SD card too but I get the same problem with a different card. @RonR: ls -l /lib/modules returns drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Jun 6 00:48 4.19.118+ drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Jun 6 00:48 4.19.118-v7+ drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Jun 6 00:48 4.19.118-v7l+ drwxr-xr...

'filesystem not supported' error mounting cifs share after running apt full-upgrade [solved]
