Re: Getting the Pi to start working

It sounds to me like the unit is not getting power as the red light is always on when there is power to the unit.

You did not say what model it is - If it is 4, then your power supply will need to be a bit bigger IMHO.

Re: Scaling for a large screen TV

I too have the same problem. When I use a standard monitor, the icons look fine, but when I use a 4K monitor, they are so small they are useless, and when I try to change the size in the settings, the text gets bigger, but the icons do not. I plan to use my Pi in a commercial setting, and I need 4K ...

Re: Printer

Thanks for the info! I did all of that and it looks like it installed the printer but when I go to print a screen shot, the print screen only lists to save to a PDF file and there is no print button. When I looked at the print settings I see the printer selected and connected to the local host. I mu...

Re: STICKY: Pictorial Buying Guide for the Raspberry Pi

I too am a nooby, and I have a Pi4 with 4 gb. As for the HDM1, the Pi will automatically set the correct resolution as the HDM1 sends to the Pi data about itself upon bootup. I have used both a standard 1900 monitor and also a 4K monitor and both work fine when booting, except the 4K is almost unusa...

Re: Problems with wireless keyboard/mouse dongle on Pi4

I have solved my problem with the wireless mouse and keyboard on my Pi 4.

I was using a no name chinese wireless setup and they work fine on a Win machine, but not on a Pi!

I switched to a Logitech and that solved the problem.

Re: Problems with wireless keyboard/mouse dongle on Pi4

First, hello and thanks for the forum! I am a newbie to Pi, but I have been around computers for 30 years and I have a bit of PC experience (but no UNIX). I unboxed my Pi 4 (4gb and 32 NOOB card, 4K Samsong TV ) and it seems to work fine, but I have a lagging wireless mouse problem. It works fine wi...
