Is there a fix for the tearing/graphic corruption during menu transitions? I don't think that this happened on the Pi3.

@gkreidl: Thank you for your explanation. I had a look into the script and essentially sudo is needed to change the virtual terminal for Kodi. The pipplware fixes (fbi and cec-client) also in the script do not seem to apply for me. Why can't Kodi be run in the current virtual terminal, where raspbia...

Hey, unfortunately Kodi doesn't launch from the menu shortcut and when I run it from shell it requests the (sudo-)password of user pi. With the password entered Kodi starts. User pi is already in the video and render group and I also did create the udev rule for drm access. In the Kodi crashlog file...

Rpi4 encode HEVC

Hey,

will there be hardware accelerated support for x.265 or is it still not possible on the Pi4? Encoding with Handbrake is unfortunately very slow.

First of all thanks for your work. Greatly appreciated. With the new build interlaced mpeg2 decoding (tvheadend) works. But I stll notice some heavy menu tearing (or graphics corruption) when navigating inside Kodi. Is there a way to fix this?
