Howto disable usb slave boot on cm3+?

Is there any changes to disable USB slave boot mode on CM3+ module? By my understanding that mode is set to OTP registers 17 and 18 (=1020000a) as a factory set-up. It is far too easy to crack the CM3+ if this mode can't be disabled - just to disassemble module from carrier board and assemble it to ...

Re: ttyAMA0/gpio32/33 swallows the first character on cm3+ board

I found the reason. It was the getty serving ttyAMA0. I had switched getty@ttyAMA0, but correct command should have been:

Code: Select all

sudo systemctl disable serial-getty@ttyAMA0
-Matti

Re: ttyAMA0/gpio32/33 swallows the first character on cm3+ board

I can't find the amba-pl011.c in build sources, just the amba-pl011.o.
I found the source and it is the patched one.

[SOLVED] ttyAMA0/gpio32/33 swallows the first character on cm3+ board

Hi! I have an add-on board for cm3+ module having also stm431 processor communicating with cm3+ over uart. ttyAMA0 is needed for this link because stm431 bootloader requires even parity communication that cat't be set to miniUART(=ttyS0). Therefore, I had to replace ttyAMA0 with ttyS0 as system cons...

Re: cm3plus does not read id eeprom at boot

It started to work when I took pin@p0 and pin@p1 definitions from dt-blob away. Some devices with pin_define@ID_SDA/ID_SCL seem to have them and some don't. Well, this is something I need not understanding.

Re: cm/cm3 boot-time configuration

In fact I also asked this in HAT forum
https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... 5&t=250765
were I described what I have done. So I already tried defining SDA and SCL in dt-blob.dts and added that "force_eeprom_read=1" in the /boot/config.txt

They did not get SDA0/SCL0 living at boot.

Re: cm/cm3 boot-time configuration

Hi,
I have very similar needs as you do - with cm3+ module. Did you find solution reading the HAT EEPROM and get details loaded into /proc/device-tree/hat at boot?

cm3plus does not read id eeprom at boot

Hi! We have made a board with CM3+ module attached. We try using HAT EEPROM for board identification/configuration. I have managed creating/loading EEPROM contents by following https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=108134 procedure. Write procedure can be verified from SCL0/SDA0 lines. ...
