Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

Hi,
can the new Ubuntu 20.10 builds be added to PINN? or is the booting method still hassle.
Thanks

Re: fake kms performance difference between 3 64bit distros on Pi 4

I mean in raspberry os 64bit is performing quite well (1000fps)
I was under the impression 3d was fully accelerated yet.

Re: fake kms performance difference between 3 64bit distros on Pi 4

Has proper 3d accelation been implemented in new rpi-update now? my glxgears benchmarks are 1000fps vs 330fps~ on manjaro my glxinfo is showing .. vs manjaro vmware llvm Extended renderer info (GLX_MESA_query_renderer): Vendor: Broadcom (0x14e4) Device: V3D 4.2 (0xffffffff) Version: 19.3.2 Accelerat...

Re: USB boot on RPi4 8GB just hangs

Hi, I tried searching the forums for more info but I couldn't spot anything relevant that would look like it would help me (except one possibility of mucking around with USB_MSD_PWR_OFF_TIME but it did not help). What happens is that when it tries to boot off my USB drive (SSD drive in a caddy) it ...

Re: Pi 4 USB3 socket unreliable

Sorry thanks for moving it, can interference from the SSD itself cause bootup trouble ? or even LAN CABLE, especially on on PORT 1. I have suffered this on a previous PI4 4GB v1.1 which pihut rma'd for me but i wonder if LAN cables and SSD sata ports cause interference. (mostly after or during rainb...

Re: Broken Pi 4 8GB?

This is a *very* weird one, and nothing that I've seen before. I bought a new 8GB Pi 4 this week, and it's been fine since I installed it onto the network on Monday night. The thing crashed this afternoon -- a wobbly power supply -- and now it won't boot. But it won't boot in the oddest way I've ev...
